We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Rapid Earthquake Damage Assessment consortium (REDACt) research project! We are proud to share that the project has not only achieved but also surpassed many of its set targets and objectives.
Over 50 esteemed scientists from various institutions collaborated closely throughout this endeavor. Led by the International Hellenic University as the lead partner (GR), and with the invaluable contributions of partners including the Institute of Engineering Seismology and Earthquake Engineering (GR), Democritus University of Thrace (GR), Gebze Technical University (TR), Ovidius University (RO), and the Institute of Geology and Seismology (MD), we have collectively developed all project outputs. Throughout the implementation phase, our project team received unwavering support and assistance from the officers of the Joint Technical Secretariat and the BSB JOP 2014-20 Managing Authority, to whom we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
Recognized as a “Flagship project” in the thematic sector of “Risks prevention and climate change mitigation” by TESIM ENI CBC, REDACt was also prominently featured in the TESIM monthly Newsletter (May 2023) [link: https://interregtesimnext.eu/voices/konstantinos-papatheodorou/].
Furthermore, we are delighted to share that REDACt is being showcased on EURONEWS Smart Regions, reaching audiences in over 150 countries worldwide [link: https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/my-europe-series/smart-regions].
